Strive Living Society is a dynamic non-profit organization that strives to provide accommodations and supports to adults with mental health, physical, and developmental disabilities, as well as challenging behaviors and medical healthcare needs.

Strive Living Society is currently seeking highly skilled, experienced couples in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and Coquitlam areas to provide a warm and inclusive home environment for individuals with complex medical, social, and behavioural needs. Homes must have a separate suite available for the individual to live in. The Hybrid Supported Home Share program places individuals into caring homes in addition to providing one-to-one staffing for 30+ hours per week, as well as ongoing case management support.

Contracts for Hybrid Supported Home Share range from $4,000.00 to $7,000.00 per month, depending on the level of support required for each individual. Suitability of the applicant will be determined through a screening process based on an agency interviews, reference checks, submission of all required documentation (including a criminal record background check for all adults over 19 years of age that reside within the home, current first aid certification, and a medical note).


**Valid BC Driver’s License, clear driver’s abstract, and a reliable vehicle

** Be comfortable working both individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals

**Valid Home and Vehicle insurance

**Negative TB Test

**NVCI/MANDT training is an asset but not required.

**Extensive experience supporting individuals with complex intellectual, behavioural and/or social needs.

All above requirements can be obtained before an individual moves in. Strive also offers training opportunities for our contractors including First Aid, CPR and Mandt training.
