Make Ready Technician

We are seeking a skilled Make Ready Technician at our Carriage Homes on the Lake property located in Garland, TX. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades to rental units to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for occupancy. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect rental units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks

Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation

Clean and prepare rental units for new tenants

Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Communicate with property managers and maintenance team to coordinate work schedules

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Make Ready Technician or similar role

Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Excellent problem-solving skills

Attention to detail

Good communication and interpersonal skills
