Since 2009, The Dorm has been a mission-driven, client-centered mental health organization that has been bringing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to young adults, ages 18-30. We are looking for a passionate Part-Time Receptionist to join our multidisciplinary Washington DC team and contribute to our goal of making a difference.
The Dorm is looking for a part-time Receptionist for our Washington, DC office to work Monday through Friday 5-8pm. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, is highly organized, is a self-starter and has a "can do" attitude. The position reports to the Director of Business Operations.
Job Description & Responsibilities include:
Responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for visitors and clients
Maintains office security and controls access to the facility managing deliveries and pick-ups
Is familiar with building contacts and safety procedures in order to handle emergencies in a calm and prompt manner
Assists in troubleshooting on-site technology (Zoom, Meeting Owl, Smart TVs, Wifi connectivity, printers etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and management team including assisting with mail-outs, scanning correspondence, logging purchases, stocking office supplies, etc. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Minimum of one year of experience
Ability to work Monday through Friday 5pm-8pm for at least 1 year
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism at all times
