Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our Workflow Processes team. This team is at the forefront of our digital transformation, migrating complex business processes from legacy IBM BAW systems to the ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you will be the technical architect behind our automated workflows, translating high-level business requirements into efficient, scalable, and secure technical designs. You will be primarily focused on building out FSO-style workflows to support our banking and compliance operations.
Role
Design and build complex technical business process flows, including approvals, escalations, SLAs, and exception handling within ServiceNow.
Translate functional requirements into technical workflows, user entry forms, work queues, and human interaction points.
Lead unit, system, integration, and regression testing phases to ensure seamless implementation of solutions into production.
Manage data extraction, transformation, and cleansing tasks required for loading data into ServiceNow from external systems.
Act as a subject matter expert to cross-train internal staff on ServiceNow development best practices.
Work closely with IT leadership on performance tuning, security, archiving, and upgrade support for the overall BPM environment.
Qualified candidates will have five plus years of dedicated ServiceNow development experience, functioning at a senior or architect level.
Required
Deep expertise in delivering solutions across Incident, Case, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
Integrating ServiceNow with external platforms (core banking, CRM, or data platforms) using REST, SOAP, or messaging architectures.
Ability to architect high-performance, reusable solutions following ServiceNow Best Practices.
Preferred
Experience with the ServiceNow Financial Services Operations (FSO) module.
Understanding of FSO use cases such as onboarding, compliance tracking, and operational risk.
Background in migrating from IBM BAW or other legacy BPM tools to ServiceNow.

Location: Mon–Thurs Onsite downtown KCMO / Fri Remote.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $135,000 – $140,000 + 15% Annual Bonus
