Cheese Maker

Position Summary Gossner Foods is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cheese Maker to join our Swiss Cheese production team.

This role is responsible for producing high-quality Swiss cheese by following established recipes, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining strict quality and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing a consistent, high-quality product in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities * Produce Swiss cheese in accordance with established formulas, processes, and quality standards * Operate, clean, and maintain cheese-making equipment to ensure optimal performance * Accurately measure and manage ingredients while following precise recipes * Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality * Maintain detailed and accurate production records and documentation * Utilize computer systems and programs for data entry and process tracking * Identify and troubleshoot production or quality issues in a timely manner * Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a team environment * Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications * Must be at least 18 years of age * High school diploma or GED preferred * Legally authorized to work in the United States * Ablity to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English * Reliable attendance and strong work ethic * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications * 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment * Experience in food production or dairy processing (preferred but not required) Pay: * $19.40 $ 23.15 (Aggressive pay increases based on performance) * This role is a high skilled level position, and with the inclusion of bonuses, annual total compensation can surpass 55K.

Schedule: * 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (2/2/3) * Scheduled hours are subject to variation under the discretion of the supervisor.
