Belstra Milling Co. is a family-owned agricultural business based in Demotte, IN. We are searching for an individual to work in our Feed Manufacturing department at our DeMotte location. Belstra thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all size. Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Work with mill room manager on timelines and deadlines of orders

Ensure the proper bags and tags are being used

Use the fines recovery procedure properly

Operate bagging machine and properly stack bags on pallets

Insure racks, bins and storage areas do not overflow

Sample feed and perform quality assurance tests

Complete appropriate paperwork and reports

Rotate stock and keep correct inventory control

Operate a forklift or other machinery used in a warehouse

Perform routine housekeeping

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Capable of completing tasks correctly while focusing on quality, service, and safety

Requirements

Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):

Operation monitoring

Reading and mathematical comprehension

Critical thinking

Physical Demands:

Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds

This position requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc.

Climb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balance

Work near moving mechanical parts and a fast-paced production environment

Ability to work in a dusty, cold, hot, humid environment and withstand exposure to seasonal weather conditions

Education and Experience:

High school degree or G.E.D.

Previous feed manufacturing experience preferred not required
