About the Role
Preventive Maintenance: Performing regularly scheduled maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, checking sensors) to prevent machine failure.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in CNC Drill machines.
Component Replacement: Repairing or replacing worn-out parts like ballscrews, spindles, servos, transformers, and wiring.
Technical Documentation: Using blueprints, manuals, and schematics to understand, repair, and calibrate machinery.
Documentation & Safety: Documenting all repairs in a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Collaboration: Working with production teams to minimize downtime and assisting with operator training.
Qualifications
Experience: Generally 2+ years of experience maintaining CNC machinery.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair issues with servo motors, drives, and PLC components.
Problem-Solving: Ability to work under pressure in urgent "machine down" situations.
