Job Description
As a Financial Data Analyst at Level Financial Group, LLC, you will play a critical role in the analysis, organization, and interpretation of large and complex financial datasets in support of forensic accounting engagements, litigation, and financial investigations performed by forensic accountants. This role is central to transforming raw financial data into clear, defensible analyses that support expert opinions and legal proceedings. Qualifying individuals will work directly with forensic accountants in support of forensic accounting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain strict compliance with professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards
Work collaboratively with forensic accountants on multiple matters with evolving deadlines and priorities
Acquire, clean, normalize, and validate large financial datasets from diverse sources
Perform detailed data analysis related to forensic accounting engagements
Identify trends, anomalies, inconsistencies, and irregular patterns through quantitative and qualitative analysis
Assist in reconstructing accounting records and transactional histories from incomplete or disorganized data
Develop clear analytical schedules, summaries, and visualizations to support expert reports and affidavits
Support the preparation of expert reports, exhibits, demonstratives, and other litigation-related materials
Apply new analytical techniques, tools, and methodologies to increasingly complex datasets
Qualifications
High ethical standards and professional integrity

Ability to accept and apply feedback in a collaborative environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation); experience with similar analytical tools is a plus
Familiarity with financial transactions, bank activity, and general ledger data
Ability to interpret financial data and understand transactional workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven, litigation-focused environment
Preferred (but Not Required)
Experience supporting forensic accounting, litigation support, audit, or investigative engagements
Exposure to visualization or reporting tools used in professional or legal settings
1–3 years of experience in data analysis, accounting, bookkeeping, or a related discipline preferred
