Who we are

We are a service-disabled veteran-owned small business based in Brownsville. Texas. Our motto is Moving you Forward, On Time, Every Time. We primarily provide last-mile and business-to-business box truck deliveries in the Rio Grande Valley and the Coastal Bend.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver willing to work Monday through Saturday. Willing to drive between 50 and 350 miles daily. Must have a clean driving record and experience safely operating, loading, and unloading a box truck, and making deliveries to residential homes. The driver will be required to complete minor vehicle maintenance, such as filling fluids, changing windshield wipers, and replacing light bulbs, within the prescribed workday. Anticipated start date for training is May 18th.

Duties

Complete deliveries during a workday, not to exceed 10 hours, starting at 6:00am

Safely operate a box truck primarily for local deliveries, but could drive up to 350 miles.

Load and unload cargo using a lift gate, pallet jacks, a dolly, or manual handling techniques.

Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules accurately and efficiently

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns professionally

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met

Maintain hours of service logs and provide copies

Tracking and updating deliveries with a smartphone app

Communicate with the dispatcher or route manager when problems occur

Arrange vehicle routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies throughout routes

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or commercial driver with route driving experience

Experience operating box trucks

Warehouse experience, including load & unload procedures using a lift gate or pallet jacks, is preferred.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently

Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude

Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow detailed routes and schedules
