Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 law firm seeking a Litigation Associate to join its White-Collar Defense & Investigations Practice in Century City. This practice group represents leading corporations, financial institutions, and executives in high-stakes government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and white-collar criminal defense matters.Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in complex white collar criminal litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal corporate investigations.

Advise clients on compliance with federal and state regulations, including securities laws, anti-corruption laws, FCPA, and anti-money laundering statutes.

Work directly with government agencies including the DOJ, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.

Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and responses to subpoenas and investigatory requests.

Assist in trial preparation, interviews, and strategy development for defense matters.Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to become a member.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in white collar litigation or government enforcement work.

Demonstrated experience in government investigations, internal investigations, and enforcement defense, particularly in matters involving securities fraud, anti-corruption, or regulatory compliance.

Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-stakes matters simultaneously.

Compensation: $235,000 - $435,000 depending on experience and class year
