This position offers compassionate professionals the chance to support students one-on-one in structured school environments. As a per diem instructional aide substitute, you will provide vital academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students, helping them succeed in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings

Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance under teacher and staff direction

Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation

Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed

Aid in mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements when applicable

Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Must be at least 18 years old

TB test completed according to school district standards

Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary

Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start date

Preferred Experience:

Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings

Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges

Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is an advantage but not required

Reliable, patient, and team-oriented demeanor
