Paralegal - Litigation

Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their in-house legal team in Austin and play a key role in supporting the company’s legal and business operations.

In this position, you will work closely with the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel, contributing across a wide range of litigation and corporate matters.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in litigation support.

You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, exercising sound judgment, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

This role is well-suited for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative setting.

Additional responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating execution of contracts, tracking deadlines for filings and responses, and conducting legal research to support ongoing matters.

You will also play a key role in maintaining corporate records, identifying contractual risks, and supporting the legal team with a variety of time-sensitive projects.

Candidate must have:Bachelor’s degree (paralegal certification preferred, ABA program a plus)10+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house environmentStrong experience with litigation and contract analysisHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment Oil & Gas or land experience is a plus.
