Configuration Manager Level 4:

Job Description: The Configuration Manager is responsible for providing direction and oversight for the MARS Development and Integration environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Develop processes and best practices for the software development lifecycle

Work with DevOps engineers to ensure DevOps pipelines are functioning correctly

Work with Development teams to ensure proper code merges, builds, and documentation are standardized

Monitor development schedule to ensure timelines are tracking with releases

Provide oversight to ensure developers are following environment rules

Ensure builds are properly tagged and provide release notes

Coordinate software deliveries to multiple production environments

Maintain software version control across all environments

Required:

A Bachelors degree with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of the degree requirement

Advanced working knowledge of Git, JIRA, and Confluence

Familiarity with AWS

Basic scripting experience

Agile development expertise

Experience working in a large development environment with multiple concurrent projects
