Our work is rooted in agriculture, craftsmanship, and attention to detail-from vineyard to bottle. Every member of our team contributes directly to the quality of the final product.

Position Overview

The Cellar Worker is a hands-on role at the center of our winemaking operations. This position supports all stages of production-from fruit intake through fermentation, aging, and bottling-while also contributing to seasonal vineyard work throughout the growing season.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys physical work, values precision and cleanliness, and takes pride in being part of a team that produces high-quality wine.

Clean and sanitize tanks, barrels, and all winery equipment to strict standards

Rack and transfer wine between vessels

Support blending, fining, and filtration activities

Assist with bottling line setup, operation, and breakdown

Maintain clear and accurate production records

Equipment & Facility Care

Maintain winery tools and equipment (hoses, pumps, presses, tanks)

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

In the Vineyard (Seasonal)

Assist with pruning, tying, shoot thinning, and canopy management

Participate in harvest, including picking and fruit handling

Support general vineyard upkeep and maintenance

Operate basic vineyard tools safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Comfort with physical, hands-on work in a production environment

Mechanical aptitude is helpful but not required

Physical & Seasonal Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Willingness to work long hours during harvest, including evenings and weekends

Comfortable working in both indoor production environments and outdoor vineyard conditions

Why Work at Villa Bellezza

Be part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality, estate-driven wines

Gain hands-on experience across both winemaking and vineyard operations

Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and evolving winery

Health insurance and 401K retirement plan
