General Labourer - Landscape Construction

Full job description Job Title: Full-Time Landscape Construction Labourer Location: Medicine Hat, AB Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Landscape Construction Labourer.

The primary role of this position will be to assist in landscape installations and maintenance, with a focus on planting and irrigation ensuring the overall neatness and aesthetic appeal of our properties.

This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities: Perform general labour tasks with a varierty of hand and small engine motorized tools.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of work sites, including clearing debris and ensuring proper disposal.

Support the team in other landscape construction tasks, such as paver installation, base preparation, irrigation installation and maintenance.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally and promptly.

Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.

Follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors to achieve desired results.

Requirements: Valid class 5 driver's license is mandatory.

Previous experience in landscape construction/irrigation or related field is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of various landscape maintenance and installation techniques and familiarity with small engine equipment is an asset.

Experience with truck and trailer, skid steer loader or ride on loaders considered an asset.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
