This is a (W-2) contract role expected to run from 4/13-6/13. Expected schedule is day shift, 60 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the Site Safety Plan
Conduct site safety orientations and ensure compliance with safety programs
Perform daily/weekly inspections and lead corrective actions
Oversee subcontractor permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentation
Investigate incidents and support JHAs and Work Method Statements
Lead weekly safety meetings and participate in safety reviews
Track labor hours and generate monthly safety reports
Manage on-site drug and alcohol programs (as applicable)
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant safety experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety (or related field), CHST, or current OSHA 500 certification required
Construction and/or energy industry experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and risk assessment practices
Proven ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills
