Position Overview
JTP Law is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our legal team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and providing exceptional administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize files, documents, and correspondence
Schedule appointments and meetings
Handle client communications (phone, email, in-person) in a professional manner
Prepare, format, and proofread documents
Maintain calendars and track deadlines
Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Perform general office duties (filing, scanning, data entry, etc.)
Support lawyers and staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous administrative experience (legal experience considered an asset)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
