Construction inspector - Joiners

Construction Inspector to perform construction engineering

and inspection duties on water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations,

and pipelines or water resources and stormwater construction projects in North

Carolina. This includes materials testing ad proper reporting and documentation.

Candidate must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and

specifications and be able to identify discrepancies or conflicts within the

documents as well as enforcement of these contract documents. The majority of

work will be Charlotte, NC but may be located throughout the state of NC and

effort will be made to keep candidates close to Charlotte and Greensboro, NC.

Required Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent; tech school or college beneficial

1 or more years of experience in inspection/construction role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently or as part of team

Work requires travel to meetings, site visits, and inspections. Must be

licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with applicable state law

Preferred Qualifications

NCDOT Erosion Control Level II Certification

OSHA 10

Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Site Manager

preferred

Local candidates are preferred
