Hourly Associates at sweetFrog are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest service experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient store environment while ensuring high-quality product presentation and service. Associates serve as the face of the brand and are expected to provide friendly, attentive customer service while supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests in a friendly, upbeat, and professional manner upon entry

Assist customers with product selection, explain self-serve options, and answer questions if needed

Ensure a positive, fun, and welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary

Point of sale and Transactions

Accurately operate the cash register and the POS system

Process cash, card, gift card, and digital payments efficiently

Maintain accuracy in handling money and providing change

Product Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and restock toppings, fruits, and yogurt machines as needed using FIFO (First in first out)

Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and visually appealing

Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low

Cleaning and Sanitation

Maintain cleanliness of the store, including lobby, topping bar, and back-of-house areas

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Clean equipment, surfaces, and utensils regularly throughout shifts

Complete opening, shift, and closing cleaning tasks

Store Operations

Stock and organize inventory, including toppings, cups, and supplies

Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of stations

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Additional Expectations

Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, honesty, and a strong work ethic

Take initiative during slow periods by completing cleaning and restocking tasks

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Be flexible with scheduling, including mornings, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail food environment that requires standing for extended periods, multitasking, and maintaining attention to detail while interacting with guests.
