Shipping & Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

PrideStaff is hiring for a Shipping & Inventory Coordinator for a manufacturing company located in Southeast Columbus.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Starting Pay Rate: $20-22/hr.

The Shipping & Inventory Coordinator plays a vital role in managing shipping operations and inventory control within a small team environment. This position ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely order processing, and effective communication with vendors to maintain smooth logistics workflows. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining documentation and quality control across shipments primarily handled via ground shipping and air freight.

Responsibilities

Manage and audit inventory to maintain accuracy and availability

Coordinate shipping activities, including ground and air freight logistics

Process and track orders from receipt through shipment delivery

Maintain thorough and accurate shipping documentation

Perform quality control checks to ensure shipment integrity

Communicate regularly with vendors to coordinate shipping and inventory needs

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in shipping and inventory management

Proficiency with inventory management systems and shipping software

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting

Strong attention to detail in managing shipments and inventory data
