Job Title: X-Ray Inspection 2nd Shift (3:00pm- 11:30pm)Location: Seymour, CTPay: $24 per hour Temp to permPosition Summary
We are seeking a skilled 5DX Operator to operate and maintain 5D X-ray inspection equipment in a high-tech electronics manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to ensure high-quality standards throughout the production process. The operator will work closely with production leads and quality teams to inspect electronic assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.Key Responsibilities
Operate 5D X-ray inspection equipment to analyze electronic assemblies for defects
Identify and document quality issues, including solder joint and component anomalies
Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve defects and improve processes
Maintain inspection logs and provide accurate reporting on findings
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain equipment calibration
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work areaQualifications
Previous experience operating 5D X-ray or similar inspection equipment preferred
Knowledge of electronics assembly processes and component identification
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard procedures
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
Have Electronics Manufacturing background ( PCB or SMT background would be a plus)
Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work ( License and car ideally)
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing and walking
Ability to use hands for precise manipulation of small components
Good vision and depth perception, including the ability to distinguish colors and fine detailsWork Environment
Electronics manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise
Compliance with safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
