ChenMed is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly influential Corporate Communications Manager to strengthen our brand voice, elevate employee engagement, and support our mission of creating More Good Days for seniors. In this role, you will develop high-impact internal communications and engagement content that connects and inspires more than 5,000 team members nationwide. You will work closely with leaders across the organization and with the Social Media team to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, purposeful, and aligned with ChenMed’s culture and values.
Execute ChenMed’s internal communications strategy by delivering timely, accurate, credible, and relevant content that helps employees understand the “why” behind priorities, initiatives, and decisions.
Develop and manage comprehensive internal communication plans that support enterprise initiatives and employee engagement efforts.
Counsel leaders on clear, consistent messaging aligned to ChenMed’s purpose, culture, and strategic priorities.
Create compelling content across channels, including emails, newsletters, presentations, videos, scripts, internal campaigns, and executive communications.
Design presentations and visual assets using PowerPoint, Canva, and related tools, serving as a lead “slide guru” for high-impact storytelling.
Film and edit short-form video content to support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Craft social media-ready content that highlights employee stories, culture moments, and employer brand messaging.
Partner closely with the Social Media team to ensure employee-focused social content aligns with brand standards and broader messaging.
Manage and monitor ChenMed’s online employer reputation on platforms such as Glassdoor and similar sites, including responding to reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen perception and engagement.
Own the planning, coordination, and execution of all Home Office engagement events throughout the year, including potlucks, food trucks, food and canned-goods drives, holiday celebrations, and other culture-building activities.
Maintain internal communication and event calendars to ensure clear planning, coordination, and execution.
Assist with creation of programs and experiences that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Exceptional writer and storyteller with a strong narrative voice
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Canva; proficient in other Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong organizational, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable partnering directly with clinical and operations leaders at all levels
Strong time and project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with sound independent judgment and creativity
Flexible and adaptable with the discernment to know when to course-correct or stay the plan
Skilled communicator with the ability to influence without authority
Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10% of the time
Spoken and written fluency in English
This position requires the use of independent judgement
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, or a related field
Minimum five (5) years of experience in corporate communications or a communications consulting environment including editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Express, or Canva and social media content creation
Healthcare experience preferred


PAY RANGE:$83,638 - $119,482 Salary
The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
