Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is responsible for conducting routine test used to diagnose and treat of patients. The MLT adheres to high quality patient care and customer service according to established standards. The MLT oversees and performs actual testing in the laboratory, phlebotomy, as well as reviews and evaluates testing results, quality controls and performance improvement. Reviews preventive maintenance records, reviews and updates inventory laboratory supplies and evaluates new testing and procedures
