As a Thump Barista, you’ll play a vital role in creating an inviting and positive experience for every guest who walks through our doors. You’ll not only craft exceptional drinks but also contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment. Whether it’s greeting guests with a smile, maintaining a clean café, or working alongside your team, you’ll embody our values of being a citizen, warrior, and entertainer.

This is a full or part-time hourly position that requires weekend availability. The role is based at our new Central Library location at 61956 SE Santorini Street, Bend, OR 97702.Key Responsibilities

As a Thump Barista, your day-to-day will include: - Preparing and serving high-quality drinks with care and precision. - Processing orders and payments at the register. - Delivering excellent customer service to all Thump fans. - Maintaining a clean and organized café environment. - Completing opening, mid, and closing shift duties. - Monitoring inventory and informing the café manager when supplies are running low. - Fostering a positive and efficient work environment by collaborating with your team. - Practicing clear and direct communication with both guests and colleagues.What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who: - Believes in the power of ordinary things to create extraordinary good. - Has a strong work ethic and attention to detail. - Is passionate about coffee and excited to learn the art of being a barista. - Thrives in team-oriented settings and enjoys connecting with people. - Has concise communication skills and welcomes feedback. - Is an active member of the Bend community and values making a positive impact. - Has 1-2 years of experience in customer service (preferred but not required). - Is self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to take on challenges.Benefits and Pay

At Thump Coffee, we value our team members and offer competitive compensation: - Starting wage of $15.05 per hour plus tips (tips average an additional $12 per hour, depending on the season). - Opportunity for raises through our internal barista certification program, with fully certified baristas earning $16.55 per hour plus tips. - After one year of employment, team members are eligible to participate in a SIMPLE IRA with up to 3% employer-matching contributions.Why Join Thump Coffee?
