Security Officer Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide static, mobile, and executive/VIP protection within the Tri-Cities / Virginia and Tennessee area

Perform regular patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious activity

Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents and take necessary actions

Coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed

Offer outstanding customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their questions or concerns

Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and responses

Qualifications

Qualifications

Military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred

Armed Security License Preferred - can license in house

Ability to pass drug screening and background check

Strong attention to detail and observational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Capacity to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Basic computer literacy for report writing

Physical fitness for patrols and rapid response

Preferred: Virginia or Tennessee armed license; Bristol/Tri-Cities areas
