Gastroenterology Physician
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician to provide locum services in Columbus, OH. Coverage is needed Feb 16 and ongoing.
Job Details:
Setting: Medical Center
Shift/Schedule Details: 7a-3p + night beeper cell M-F + 24 hour beeper call on weekends
Patient Volume: TBD
EMR System: EPIC
Skills/Procedures/Required Case Types:
o ERCP required (150 in the past 2 years)
o Esophageal or Duodenal or Luminal Stent Placement (20 in the past 2 years)
o Performance of history and physical exam
o Argon plasma coagulation
o Biopsy of the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
o Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy (must provide documentation of performance of 100 within the past 2 years at initial appointment and 150 at reappointment)
o Diagnostic and therapeutic esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
o Enteral alimentation
o Esophageal dilation with balloon or bougie or savary with guidewire
o Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, including foreign body removal or polypectomy
o Flexible sigmoidoscopy
o Gastrointestinal motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring
o Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
o Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
EUS and ERCP are required
Requirements:
State License: Ohio
Board-Certification: BC or BE in Gastroenterology
Years of Experience: 1
Life Certifications: ACLS
DEA/CSR: DEA Required
