Litigation Paralegal – Family Law

Collin County, TX (In-Office, 5 Days/Week)

We are working with a well-established family law firm in Collin County seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes ownership of their work while supporting attorneys at a high level.

What You’ll Do

Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery requests/responses, briefs, affidavits, and sworn inventories

Prepare trial and hearing binders, exhibits, and supporting materials

Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and discovery indexes (both electronic and paper)

Manage attorney calendars, including court settings, deadlines, and meetings

E-file court documents and ensure accuracy and timeliness

Assist in case preparation, including summarizing transcripts, gathering facts, and conducting research

Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties

Coordinate logistics for hearings, trials, and case-related activities

Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents such as subpoenas and pretrial agreements

What They’re Looking For

4–6+ years of litigation paralegal experience

Family law experience strongly preferred; civil litigation backgrounds also considered

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

High attention to detail and accountability

Comfortable working closely with attorneys and acting as a gatekeeper

Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starter mindset

Strong communication skills and client-facing professionalism
