What You ll Do:
As a CRNA, you will be responsible for managing anesthesia for a diverse patient population, spanning all ages. You will work under supervision by an anesthesiologist or surgeon, providing anesthesia during surgeries, OB procedures, and emergency cases within a 114-bed Level II Trauma hospital. Your duties include overseeing 12-15 cases daily across various departments, including the OR, GI Lab, and OB C-section emergencies, utilizing Meditech EMR documentation. You will handle complex cases such as TEE, epidu:rals, and cardioversions (rare), ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all surgical procedures.
Shift Details:
Start Date: May 4, 2026, for an initial 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (days), 40 hours/week
Optional Weekday Call: 3:00 PM 7:00 AM, 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
Full-time, day shift with flexible call options to suit your preferences
Required Skills:
Board Certified CRNA with active licensure
Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting
Valid DEA and CSR certifications
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Ability to manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties and patient ages
Strong documentation skills using Meditech EMR (paper intraoperatively)
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in Level II Trauma or similar facilities
Proficiency with advanced anesthesia techniques, including TEE and epidurals
Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced surgical environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based anesthesia practice
Experienced in managing anesthesia across multiple departments and case types
Other Requirements:
Local candidates preferred; travel and lodging reimbursements provided for eligible candidates
Lodging arranged directly by the facility; mileage reimbursement available
Must be able to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $230.10
