Job description*:

**Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Oracle databases (versions 11g, 12c, 19c) with a focus on Exadata, RAC, and ASM.

- Perform RAC database build, refresh, clone, upgrade, patching, and migration.

- Understand and work with Exadata architecture, including hardware components and features like Flash Cache, Storage Index, HCC, and IORM.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting for Exadata components.

- Configure and manage storage (LUN, Cell Disk, Grid Disk) and perform Exadata software patching.

- Handle export/import and cloning at the PDB level.

- Create GRP and perform flashback database operations at the CDB/PDB level.

- Configure and manage RAC databases, including standby and Data Guard setup.

- Perform DB/Instance failover and switchover.

- Administer databases, including table partitioning, reorganization, and index management.

- Understand RAC database architecture, ASM, split brain, node eviction, cache fusion, OCR, and Voting Disk.

- Perform backup and restore using RMAN tools.

- Provide performance tuning recommendations.

- Work with ZFS storage models, including project creation, file system management, remote replication, and shadow migrations.

- Monitor operating systems, databases, security, storage, and Exadata components using Enterprise Manager.

- Implement performance and tuning recommendations for Exadata machines.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Exadata storage cells, InfiniBand, Flash Cache, PDU, and KVM.

- Configure and use ILOM, and manage Exalogic Server with Exadata Server, including Infinite Band network connectivity.

- Administer OEM for monitoring and system administration tasks, including patching, resource allocation, and hardware/software monitoring.

- Oracle database and SQL tuning expertise, with working knowledge of the Oracle Exadata and EXACC platform.

- Experience with Platinum support for Exadata/EXACC patching, capacity planning, installation, integration, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, refreshes, and backup/recovery.**
