Job Title: Warehouse Associate I

Location: Lockbourne, OH 43137, USA

Duration: 4 Months (Contract)

Pay Rate: $19.50/hr. (without the benefit)

Work Schedule:

Sunday: 2:30 PM until work is completed

Monday – Thursday: 4:30 PM until work is completed

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support warehouse operations in a distribution center environment. This role involves performing various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. During a temporary setup in the refrigerated area, associates will handle totes manually and scan them to determine the correct storage or delivery location.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise against receiving documents.

Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.

Pick products from shelves and place them into totes for order fulfillment.

Scan totes and determine the correct location for placement using the warehouse system.

Stock shelves with merchandise and rotate stock to maintain proper inventory flow.

Prepare customer orders for shipment by accurately selecting and staging products.

Process returns, perform data entry, and return items to the correct storage location.

Perform daily cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.

Support inventory control procedures and participate in physical inventory when required.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements including DEA regulations.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand English for product identification and shelf labels.

Basic mathematical skills for counting and order verification.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and use sound judgment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to maintain reliable attendance and work overtime when required.

Capability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.

Familiarity with automated or PkMS-enabled warehouse management systems.Company Description
