Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX/Jersey City, NJ/Tampa, FL. The candidate will support Selenium automation onboarding activities by preparing required setup, environments, and processes for smooth integration into the automation framework.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

Set up automation environments, tools, and frameworks required for onboarding new Selenium automation engineers.

Configure project repositories, folder structures, and test frameworks to ensure smooth integration into ongoing automation efforts.

Assist engineering teams by validating access, dependencies, and required system configurations for automation readiness.

Create or update onboarding documentation, checklists, and guidelines to standardize the automation onboarding process.

Provide technical support during onboarding by resolving setup issues, framework errors, or environment configuration challenges.

Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure alignment of automation onboarding tasks with CI/CD pipelines and project standards.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

6-8 years of experience in automation testing or QA engineering with a focus on Selenium.

Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium automation, including framework usage, setup, configuration, and environment readiness for onboarding.

Ability to support onboarding tasks by resolving technical setup issues, validating configurations, and collaborating effectively with QA and DevOps teams.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $49.00 per hour
