Role Overview
You are a creative problem-solver who thrives at execution. You have a strong ability to translate 'why' into 'how,' transforming concepts and strategies into compelling visual assets across both digital and traditional channels. At Chatterson, you are responsible for creating and maintaining visual assets that support clients’ branding and marketing initiatives. We are narrative-driven and deeply experienced in real estate marketing, so an interest in this space is important. You will collaborate closely with our Creative Director and Account Director to ensure all work aligns with brand standards, strategic objectives, and project goals.
You understand the fundamentals of design and have a strategic mindset to pair execution with insight, learning to balance creative skill with thoughtful decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design and produce high-quality creative assets for digital and print channels, including marketing campaigns, social media, presentations, interiors and brand collateral.
Design innovative, high-quality websites, from wireframes through to fully developed designs ready for handoff to development.
Create engaging motion graphics for social media that bring campaigns and brand narratives to life
Maintain consistency across all creative outputs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and digital teams to translate briefs and concepts into visually compelling design solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Revise and refine designs based on feedback, testing, and evolving project or client needs
Prepare final artwork for print and digital production, with a clear understanding of CMYK vs. RGB, and 300 dpi vs. 72 dpi.
Proofread creative solutions to ensure quality assurance and reduce errors.
Organize and maintain design files, assets, and documentation in line with internal processes and workflows.
Skills & Competencies
Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of layout and foundational design principles
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects)
Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and branding fundamentals
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present work to internal stakeholders
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in English and French is an asset, but not required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Demonstrated professional experience in graphic design, with a portfolio that reflects both creativity and foundational skills
