Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our dynamic and evolving team as a CNC Machine Operator in a high-volume, customized job shop environment. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to learn new skills and processes as projects change. The ideal candidate will bring prior CNC operating experience or a combination of manufacturing experience and a technical degree in CNC or machining.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC Mills (Okuma) with high precision requirements, typically to the thousandth.
Run pre-existing programs, focusing solely on operation rather than programming or full machine setup.
Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning coolant and fan air filters.
Use tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure proper specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Conduct visual inspections of parts for quality assurance.Essential Skills
Experience in CNC operation, preferably with Okuma machines.
Ability to work with high-precision requirements.
Experience working with materials such as metal, steel, titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Strong attention to detail and visual quality inspection skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in precision manufacturing is a bonus.
Familiarity with Lathes, Blueprint reading, Mills, Calipers, Micrometers, and Tape measures.
No history of job hopping.
Demonstrated coachability.
Interest in aerospace or defense industries is a plus.

Work Environment
Enjoy working in an air-conditioned shop with a supportive and collaborative team. The work schedule is from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
