Product Assembler

Spotlight is working with a manufacturing company looking to bring on a Product Assembler. This position is 100% on-site in New Jersey and the pay rate is $20-$23/hr. This is a 6 month contract to hire role.

We are seeking hands-on Product Assemblers to support precision mechanical assembly and production operations. This individual will be responsible for assembling products and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates coming from manufacturing, industrial, electronics, aerospace, or technical assembly environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products and subassemblies according to work instructions and specifications

Utilize hand tools and power tools including drills, presses, crimpers, and fastening tools

Perform rivet, screw, crimp, seal, and light solder work as needed

Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process

Support certification testing and documentation requirements

Maintain a clean and safe work environment following PPE and safety protocols

Work closely with production leadership to meet daily output goals

Preferred Background

Manufacturing / production assembly

Mechanical or electronics assembly

Aerospace / defense or industrial environment preferred

Soldering or crimping experience strongly preferred

Strong reliability and attendance
