Position Overview
Dobco is seeking a Construction Contracts Specialist to support contract administration across multiple projects. This role will assist with reviewing contracts, drafting subcontract agreements, tracking compliance requirements, and supporting project teams with contract-related matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with review of prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements
Draft and issue subcontract agreements and amendments
Track insurance, bonds, and compliance documentation
Maintain contract logs and key milestone tracking
Support change order preparation and contract documentation
Help prepare formal notices in accordance with contract requirements
Assist with delay claim documentation and time extension requests
Ensure proper flow-down of contract terms to subcontractors
Coordinate with project managers on contract-related items
Support subcontractor onboarding and document collection
Maintain organized contract files and correspondence records
Assist with project closeout documentation related to contracts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
Experience in construction contract administration or similar role
Experience in construction, engineering, or legal environment preferred
