Fiber Splicing Technician – Data Center Construction

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days/week

Employment Type: Full-time

We are hiring Fiber Technicians to support a large-scale data center construction project in Columbus, OH. No prior fiber experience is required—just a strong work ethic and familiarity with general labor or hand tools. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the fast-growing fiber and data center infrastructure industry. This is a long-term job opportunity with room for upward mobility!

Responsibilities:

Assist with and eventually perform fiber splicing and learn from training provided

Support site crews with material handling, setup, and basic tool use

Follow safety protocols and work under supervision of experienced fiber installers

Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist with daily tasks

Requirements:

Prior experience in working with fiber and performing technical task with fiber such as splicing and/or terminating

Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week

Must pass a background check

$200/day in per diem + Hourly Rate and 1.5x Overtime Rate!
