Plant Manager

Plant Manager – Gainesville, TX We are working with a leading international manufacturing organisation to recruit a Plant Manager for a key production site in Gainesville, TX This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all plant operations, driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities:Oversee all day-to-day plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logisticsEnsure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a strong safety-first cultureDrive plant performance against key metrics including throughput, scrap, downtime, and deliveryImplement and lead continuous improvement initiatives across operationsManage production planning to ensure customer delivery requirements are consistently metOversee quality systems in line with industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve operational and quality issuesAct as the primary contact for customer audits and technical queriesLead, develop, and mentor plant teams, fostering a high-performance and accountable cultureChampion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across the siteIdentify and implement opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related disciplineProven experience managing plant operations and leading large, multi-functional teamsStrong background in manufacturing within a regulated or automotive environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (certification desirable)Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvements and deliver against operational KPIsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
