Landscaper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping person to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of lawn care practices.

This role involves working outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.

DutiesManaging all landscaping projects, including design, installation, and maintenanceManage and supervise the planting and pruning of all plant materialsPlanting of new shrubs, trees, perennials and flowersWeeding and mulching landscape bedsTrimming small trees, hedges and shrubsCare for established lawns by aerating, removing thatch or trimming and edging around flower beds, etc.Complete Spring and Fall Clean-upsInstall pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls or other hardscapingProper Installation of sod and grass seedOversee the scheduling of work routes to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely mannerMonitor the condition of lawns and landscapes, identifying any issues related to pests or diseases.Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy lawns as neededUtilize a variety of lawn and landscaping power equipment and hand tools.Supervise a crew of 3-4 members ExperiencePesticide Application License – is a huge plus but not requiredPrevious experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.Prior commercial landscape experience is strongly preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMust possess a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.Safely operate trucks, trailers, and dump trucksAble to safely operate machinery (as instructed)Physical Stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditions.Able to sit, stand, kneel and lift/move 50+ lbs.
