Construction Project Engineer

Overview A Construction Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

They act as a key link between field operations, project management, and design teams—helping ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Manager with overall project coordination and executionReview plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructabilityManage submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project documentationTrack project schedules, milestones, and deliverablesCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teamsMonitor construction progress and report on performanceHelp manage project budgets, costs, and change ordersConduct site visits to ensure work aligns with plans and safety standardsSupport quality control and compliance with codes and regulationsPrepare daily reports, meeting minutes, and progress updatesAssist with procurement of materials and equipment
