This role is based in our Fairfax, VA office.

We get to know our clients very well and use that knowledge to create customized financial, investment and tax plans, and manage their investments.

We are looking for a self-starting problem solver, with a strong sense of client service, who can think critically and wants to be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:Provide a high level of service to our firm’s clients at the direction of a team of Financial Advisors and Planners Provide administrative support during the financial planning processProcess account paperwork on and maintain related filesSupport Advisors’ calendars, proactively contact clients to schedule review meetingsRespond to client requests for service and process those requestsAnswer telephone, relay messages, and greet clients, acknowledge/celebrate client milestonesEstablish and maintain organized department files and recordsPlan and/or attend meetings as requested by the AdvisorsAssist with projects as neededPerform other duties as assigned Requirements:3-5 years finance or investment industry experienceBachelor’s Degree requiredKnowledge of investment products and custodial accountsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Internet and CRM softwareExcellent written and oral communication skills; strong listening skills; professional demeanorStrong organizational, prioritization and project management skillsAbility to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a great deal of initiativeAbility to learn and adapt quickly to multiple technology platforms Gallagher's HR & Organizational effectiveness team provides expert guidance and hands-on support in HR, Recruiting, and Payroll to help organizations stay focused on achieving their strategic business goals.
