Scada Engineer

Job Title: AVEVA PI System Engineer - SCADA Location: New Albany, OH/Roanoke, VA Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $75/Hr on W2 The role involves establishing a moderate understanding of the technologies and processes necessary for the development and support of Operational Technology (OT) Real Time tools and systems.

Key responsibilities include providing application support for Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, as well as other applications utilized in Transmission Control Centers.

Job Duties: Exabit advanced understanding of the AVEVA PI (Plant Information) system, components, and processes Ability to understand interrelationships between systems and components Demonstrate critical thinking, urgency, and attention to detail to support real time operations Able to provide on rotation, after hours (24 x 7) on-call support Nice-To-Have: Preferred intermediate to advanced experience supporting AVEVA PI, Operational Technology Systems, and their components AVEVA PI experience, especially with PI Interfaces PI Connectors PI Integrators PI Asset Framework/ PI Vision Operational Technology experience – Power Plant Control Systems such as Ovation SCADA System related experience Understanding of Communications Protocols – OPC, Modbus, DNP, Ovation PI Installation & Administration Advanced Analytics using AVEVA PI C# .Net Development Experience.

Education & Experience Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience Related Fields for Education and Experience: IT/OT System Administration IT/OT Application Support Cyber Security ADMS/DM/SEMS/OMS/SCADA
