The Logistics and Warehouse Automation Engineer will support warehouse planning with an emphasis on logistics automation.
The project involves transitioning delivery methods from GLT sequence to KLT.
To ensure success, we are seeking individuals with strong warehouse experience, particularly with emerging technologies and automation strategies.
The objective is to optimize the system's reliability while reducing headcount through automation.
Additionally, it's crucial that the project aligns with industry benchmarks and complies with global plant standards.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with Team Project Lead and team members to manager new model project activities and its integration into a logistics facility through optimization and automation.Prepare regular project status reports, manage project documentation, and assist in the preparation of presentations and meetings.
Additionally, track financial budget planning.Support the decision-making process of in-house logistics strategies, benchmarks, cost-benefit analysis.Assist in analysis of onsite vs offsite sequencing solutions based on cost, space, lead time analysis.Ensure alignment between work packages towards the overall strategic goal.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field5-8 years of warehouse planning and automation experience from an automotive manufacturing environmentExperience with AGVs, AMRs, AS/RS, Conveyor and Sortation Systems, Robotic Picking Arms
