Associate Attorney (Litigation)

Ginsberg Jacobs LLC seeks an attorney with 4+ years of experience to join the firm's litigation group and represent the firm’s clients in various litigation matters, including real estate, telecommunications, corporate, and general commercial litigation.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and respond to discovery; conduct document review, including eDiscoveryDraft motions, briefs and pleadings in both state and federal courtsConduct legal research (Westlaw) and prepare related memorandaAttend and conduct depositionsAttend court hearings both in person and remotelyWork with staff to organize and manage all case related documentsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications4+ years of litigation experience is required; commercial or real estate litigation experience is strongly preferredPrior court room experience is requiredExperience with eDiscovery software (Logikcull, Relativity, DISCO) is preferredStrong legal writing skillsA self-starter with strong organizational skillsDetail-orientedMust be licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standingAbility to multi-task; adaptability Salary range is $125,000-$225,000, depending upon experience.
