For over 50 years we have offered machining solutions for many industries including Aerospace, Medical, Military, Electric Power, Instrumentation and Hydraulics.\n The ideal Nightshift CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC equipment to produce high-quality, precision components that meet exact specifications.

This position requires a solid understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.

Night shift hours: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.

\n Key Responsibilities\n\n Operate CNC lathes, CNC Swiss lathes, and CNC multi-axis lathes to machine parts to specifications.\n Monitor machine performance and make minor offsets or adjustments to maintain part quality.\n Load and unload parts, tools, and materials per job order requirements.\n Utilize power and hand tools to perform finishing processes.\n Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and part dimensions.\n Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications.\n Perform routine maintenance and ensure work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.\n Accurately record production data, measurements, and part counts.\n Collaborate with senior machinists, engineers, and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes.\n Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.\n Complete job-related training as directed by management.\n\n Qualifications\n\n High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining\n preferred.\n Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.\n Basic understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining principles.\n\n Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.\n\n Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.\n Strong problem-acknowledgement ability, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to producing quality work.\n Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.\n Excellent communication and teamwork skills.\n\n Physical Requirements\nAbility to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to frequent standing and walking; frequent kneeling; bending; lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.\n\n Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.\n Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery, lubricants, and metal materials.\n
