CNC Machinist Programmer

Fastener Dimensions, Inc is looking for full time CNC Machine programmer and set-up. Manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ. We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening. CNC Lathe and Mill Programmer and set up Operator Essential Responsibilities
Use of CAM software to make 3D models and tool paths.
Identify the correct feeds, speeds and depths of cut to maximize performance of the machine from job to job.
Knowledge of hard to machine materials such as titanium, Inconel and A286 stainless.
Selection of tools and suppliers as needed.
Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machines including Lathe, Mill and EDM in a cell structure within a department.
Run first piece and make sure it is ok for the operator to run the job.
Training of operators and set-up persons as needed
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keep supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond operator ability.
Must read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for parts being run.
Provide accurate inventory counts at all times and keep parts in appropriate storage areas
Inspect parts using micrometer, gages and related inspection instruments
Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required (i.e. deburring)
Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to departmental standards including quality and productivity goals
Follows direction from cell leader and assists as needed
Other duties as assigned
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications
Position Requirements:
High school, or equivalent
Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
Ability to perform a sequence of operations under minimum supervision and consistently maintain the performance levels set for quality and quantity.
Understanding of safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts which might cause injury to self, others, or environment.
Ability to work through daily operational activities
Good interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
Ability to plan effectively and execute the plans
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must have strong PC skills and ability to work with Microsoft products
CNC Machine Operator Physical/Work Environments
Worker will be working in a machine shop setting
Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds
Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift
