Key Responsibilities:

Excavator Operation: Expertly and safely operate mid-to-large size excavators for a wide range of projects, including:

Residential site prep, lot clearing, and foundation digging.

Trenching for utility lines (water, sewer, power) and main lines/laterals.

Drainage solutions, sumps, ponds, and ditch construction.

Precision Work: Perform final grading and digging with precision for foundations, driveways, and commercial site preparation.

Maintenance & Care: Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, basic maintenance, and ensure the equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Site Management: Work collaboratively with contractors, homeowners, and municipalities, adhering strictly to deadlines and safety protocols.

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience: Proven, recent experience as a heavy equipment operator, with significant time spent operating an excavator.

Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and follow specific utility trenching plans.

Safety & Compliance: Strong commitment to safety on every job site.

Work Ethic: Must embody our core values of dependability, hard work, and a neighborly touch.

Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and be consistently available for projects across Central Utah.
