Structural Analysis Engineer

Johnson Service Group is seeking Structural Analysis Engineer for a contract assignment in Roseville, CA to support structural analysis and design for unmanned composite aircraft.

Rate range is $85-$100 DOE

Qualifications:

Expertise in Patran/Nastran or HyperMesh/Nastran/OptiStruct

Airframe structural analysis experience

Composite laminate analysis experience

Experience building FEMs / GFEMs

Strong hand calculation skills (Bruhn, Shigley, Roark)

Strong communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Perform structural sizing, layout, and analysis

Develop loads and conduct FEM analysis

Evaluate structural integrity and performance

Prepare engineering documentation and design review materials

Support testing, troubleshooting, and flight test activities
