Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in efficiently managing material handling and storage within the warehouse environment. This position involves operating various types of forklifts, such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers, to load, unload, and transport materials safely and effectively. Operators will work both independently and as part of a small team to support warehouse organization and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

Operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials safely

Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Transport materials efficiently within the warehouse

Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness

Coordinate logistics activities to support operational flow

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in warehouse operations

Forklift Operator certification

Experience with forklift operation and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Knowledge of inventory control and OSHA standards

Physical stamina and attention to detail

Strong time management and communication skills
