Pharmacy Tech - Westerville, Ohio

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Westerville, OH. This role involves supporting a busy pharmacy environment with an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 prescriptions per day. You will work alongside a team of 5 pharmacy technicians and 2 pharmacists to ensure accurate and efficient prescription order processing.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process prescription orders using Prime RX software (experience preferred)

Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with regulations

Manage typical tasks such as prescription verification, medication preparation, and customer service

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting

Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license required

Familiarity with Prime RX order entry system is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

13-week assignment with potential for direct hire after completion
