Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that the company's buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position bridges daily operational needs with long-term facility planning, coordinating maintenance activities, vendor services, and internal requests to keep the workplace running smoothly. The Facilities Coordinator will oversee one part-time employee onsite.
Responsibilities
Coordinate lawn care, snow removal, machinery maintenance, and building maintenance with necessary vendors.
Ensure the functionality and safety of the facility and its equipment.
Oversee daily operations and long-term facility planning.
Manage and coordinate vendor services and internal requests.
Supervise one part-time employee onsite.Essential Skills
Facilities maintenance
Repair
Vendor management
Mechanical troubleshooting
2+ years of facility maintenance experience
Experience working with outside vendors to coordinate repairs
Experience in a leadership role
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel
Preventive maintenance
Work orders
GroundskeepingAdditional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of facility maintenance experience preferred

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
